Yellow River @ Mississippi River

Yellow River @ Mississippi River was a collaborative project with the Beijing Film Academy. Artists and professors Liu Xuguang and Diane Willow were the catalysts and concept developers for the project. Gnimuy Aij and Diane Willow worked together on the technical details of projecting streaming media from artists along the Yellow River in China and artists and students from the Beijing Film Academy and UMN along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. The participating students communicate with each other and experiment with a range of virtual media before coming together on site to project streaming media from Yellow River-side cities in China and the Northern Spark activities along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN.
